Getting Ready for Halloween!

We love Halloween!  We'd love to do more for Halloween, but life is busy - especially in October.  We decorated - thanks to my Dad.  He got us a couple of inflatable decorations.  We also put out spider webs between our trees with some large spiders.  I forgot to take photo of that - maybe because it looked so unprofessionally done.  But, Joey enjoyed it anyway.  Here's a few pre-Halloween photos.

Joey camoflauged in the bushes.

Joey saluting!  He received this costume for his birthday.  Although he was a ninja for Halloween, we ended up using this costume for his school party since it was much easier to put on.

Joey loved the decorations.  He created games, of course, to play with the inflatables.  (Ex. standing on the sidewalk, who could race to hug the inflatable first, who could sqeeze the air out the inflatable first, and,  as you can see, later in the photos, boxing)

I asked Joey to smile, and he requested a joke.  This is his response.  I am so funny!

This was one of his games, boxing the inflatable.  I decided that I also had a punch balloon as a kid - so I could justify the aggression ;)  Each morning and afternoon, he had a great time "fighting" the ghost.  One time, he fell down and he said to the ghost, "You may have me down, but I'm not out!"  He always surprises me.  I love this kid and his wonderful imagination/pretend play!
