Joey so enjoys Maria, our next door neighbor! We try to remember her birthday every year. I asked Joey what we should get her for her birthday. He thought about it and said, "Cookie Dough! She likes cookie dough!" So, we got her cookie dough - Joey really thinks about what others would like - a great quality! Of course, we got her flowers and a balloon, too!

Fright Fest 2012!
We visited Six Flags for the Fright Fest. Some friends had said their kids were scared so we prepared Joey, and all was great. He had fun looking for the monsters and skeletons that were all over the park. We love Halloween.
We stopped by La Cantera and got some icecream.

Enjoying Halloween a Little Early!
Joey chose to be the black Spiderman this year. However, he had to have the reversible costume. That way he could change back and forth. I have found that letting him wear his costume before Halloween doesn't harm anything - it just adds to the fun and excitement. (I had to add a few photos of each to enjoy the drama and character that comes with the costume!)
The Zoo with Friends!
Last year our dear friends invited us to see Lucas Miller, the singing zoologist, at the zoo, and we truly enjoyed it. Well, they invited us again. This year there were activities to go with it. Fun times!
Joey getting his hand and face painted.
Making ants out of fingerprints!
Learning about the life cycle of the butterfly.

The Lunch Bunch!
About once a month or so, we try to meet for lunch - the OTs and PTs in this area of the school district. Well, our coordinator, DJ, moved away, but came back to visit. So, we had to get together once again!
DJ, me, Brenda, Marla, and, of course, Aurora!
Brenda enjoying Rori!
Vicky joined us later. What a great group of friends and coworkers!
Gruene with Nicole and Victoria!
Greune, Texas is one of my favorite places to visit for an afternoon. It is so quaint and welcoming. We met Nicole and Victoria there for dinner. We ate outside by the river, went to the country store for ice cream, and the kids played soccer/frisbee in an open area.
My Joey (walking on any line he sees).
Beautiful Greune!
Nicole and Sweet Victoria!
Joey and Vicoria (sorry, not the best photo, Victoria) at the country store getting ice cream.
A County Fair!
We attended the New Braunfels fair again this year. It's just the perfect size for Joey's age. We enjoyed all of the activities.
Joey got this fabulous machine gun. We probably should have gotten it AFTER visiting the animal exhibits (since some people were offended with Joey's trigger happy nature with the animals).
Animal displays
A new exhibit - chicks hatching as we watch! Definitely, a favoorite of ours.
Another new exhibit - getting to hold and play with the fluffy, baby chicks.
We all had fun!
Joey and Daddy had to have their snow cones (AKA raspas in San Antonio - the Spanish translation).
A quick photo of me and Jose.
Joey giving us a thumbs up on the ride.
Our Sweet Mabel! She loves to lounge on pillows.
