A Friend's Birthday!

It was a laser tag party!  Everyone (including
me) had a great time!

Some of the boys!

Air hockey is more fun in teams!

Nina's Birthday!

Jose, his mom, and his sister!

. . . adding in Joey and Adrian!

Miscellaneous Fun!

Joey waits every year to get the costume catalogs for Halloween!

Joey being himself at a toy store!

Joey's first lovey was the very small version of this monkey.

So. . . this is what Joey's imaginary ghost friend, Bobby,
looks like, now and as a baby!

Joey, ready for school with his new backpack,
and. . . Mabel!

The Tower of Americas!

We finally finished celebrating Father's Day with Papa!  We visited the Tower of Americas and enjoyed all it had to offer - sightseeing, the 4D movie, and the rotating restaurant.

My family and the beautiful fountains.

My parents, Joey, and I.

My Joey!

Joey spotted the fountains you can walk under. . .

Sweet Oreo!

This summer Joey has been very creative.  He is back into
playdough, but much more inventive.  This is an elephant,
an Angry Bird, a jack-o-lantern and an alien.

Six Flags with Cousins!

Jose's cousin, Sonnya, and her family came to visit.  We spent the day with them at breakfast, Six Flags, and dinner.  Such wonderful people.  We always enjoy them.

Breakfast - Mexican, of course!

Ally (right) with her friend.

The group getting ready to ride the log ride!

My family!

Joey enjoying the rides!

Waiting in line!

We took a quick break and went home while
they stayed at Six Flags.  Joey painted toys -
his new hobby.

Focusing, so precise!

Ally and Joey at dinnerl.

Welcome, Mabel!

Karina (AKA "The Dog Social Worker) delivered this dog to us.  How could we say "no"?  I named her "Mabel."  The boys accepted it.  Joey only had one other idea - "Dot."  And, that is the name of a friend's dog who looks similar, so "Mabel" stuck.  She is a sweet thing!  Not yet house broken, but quite the snuggler (and chewer. . . she has already ruined 3 pair of my shoes. . .and whose fault is it after the first pair?).  My mantra is "She's just a puppy. . .she's just a puppy. . . puppies are supposed to do these things. . ."

Sweet Mabel!

Jose snuggling the first night we got her.

The special lady who delivered the sweet thing.

Guess who lost his first tooth?!?

Joey has had another tooth growing in behind
this one for a few months.  I was so thilled when he
finally got motivated to get it out.  (I didn't want
the first dental experience to be having a tooth pulled!)

Joey with his tooth!

We called my family to tell them the news.  He asked each of
them if they were going to come by and see it.  Then, when I told
him they were going to come by, he responded, "What's the
big deal?"

Southern Indiana (Hannover, Madison, and Clifty Falls)!

Annie and Sophie, always ready for what the day brings!

Barb, Ellie, Joey, and I spent the day swimming and visiting
downtown Madison.  This was a cool place in a basement of
a nature store that embraced nature with many sights and information.

Joey and Ellie exploring.

A cool quote posted on the wall.
(I hadn't ever seen this before.)

At a bookstore.

One of my new finds at a local artist store.

We visited a park that adjoined to the skate
park.  This was new and fun for Joey.  He practiced
so much he was able to walk up the ramp after
20 minutes.

Cool Barb!

Joey and Ellie!

We enjoyed watching the skaters and kids on bikes.

Just a photo of clover - memories. . .

Barb!

We each created our own plates.
