My entertainer! It's an inside out ball. He found many ways to stay entertained.
My beautiful boy! Oh, how I love him. He had just gone shopping at the Dollar Tree with $5 Jose had given him.
Joey proud of his hard work at arranging the gel clings on the window.
This is what was included in Joey's "All About Me" box for show and tell at school. I asked him if he wanted a picture of Nana and Papa - he said, "No, they already know who they are." I slipped in a picture of each set of grandparents anyway. Just so it's clear. . . he included chicken strips and chocolate as his favorite foods. . . he likes books, puzzles, dressing up (robot arm), swimming (octopus swim toy), secret spies (cell phone item), games (ball and cards), super heroes (Spiderman), cars (a side note from mom, not really). . . and he included "Cutie - the monkey he sleeps with." His teacher told me how well he did - actually, that he had great verbal skills and had done the best at telling about his items out of all the class - a mother has to brag. (I'm glad since this week he came home with a note in place of the smiley face stamp - noting that Joey wouldn't come to circle time and had pushed others down on the playground. Now, it has been a one time episode - he was sick - we'll see. . . .)
Papa and Joey grilling hot dogs and bratwurst for Labor Day - Yum!
Joey is doing so well on his bike - he rode about a half mile the other night. This morning he asked if he could ride his bike to school (about 2 to 3 miles). I told him he could ride it after school.
Jose had a big month in August. It is considered a "push month" to sell many cars with great bonus incentives. Jose doesn't like to brag about himself, but I do - he sold the most at his dealership. He met every bonus - including the spouse shopping spree bonus. We had a recognition dinner the other night - very nice. The owner said the employees couldn't have done it without the support of their spouses. So, I decided since Jose sold the most cars, then I must be the most supportive spouse. (Makes sense, right?) Now, daddy will be home more - he got to visit Joey's school this week and Busy Bodies. Joey was so proud and was a fairly impressive tour guide of his school and after school activity.
