Joey's First Day of Pre-Kindergarten

Joey was excited about school. He woke up at 6:00 a.m. and asked if it was time to go to school yet. He had been hesitant on the "Meet the Teacher" day so I didn’t know what to expect. Joey had a bounce in his step as we headed on our new adventure.  He was so excited to make new friends.

Joey has been avoiding pictures lately so I wasn’t sure how he would respond to the first day of school photos. But, after I explained that we would be doing this every year so we could look back and remember, he was happy to participate.

Joey is in a Pre-K setting, but this program is designated for employees. Only 12 three and four- year-olds are in the class with one teacher and one assistant. His class will also be integrated with the preschool students within the special education setting. (This class will also have its own teacher and assistant/s.) So, I will be spending some time in his class. Anyway, I couldn’t have picked better teachers. I am so lucky to have such positive, energetic, amazing teachers for my son.
