This is Joey's friend at the Chinese restaurant we visit. Although
he only speaks Mandarin, he and Joey have a fun relationship. Lots of
gestures and smiles. Joey tells him, "Ni Hao!" each time we visit. |

OK, this is for me. I keep seeing this sign and can't help but think,
"Only in Texas!" Yes, this is a current election sign. |

One of the crafts from Joey's class during dinosaur
week. He pointed out to me that he had poked holes with
a toothpick for the dinosaur's eye. He asked me if I knew why
he had done that. I responded, "No." He explained that when
looking at dinosaur bones, the eyes usually have holes. Very good! |
For some reason, on the stairs at home, Joey wants to be first, whether going up or down. At times, this becomes an issue because he is taking his time, and I have my hands full. The other day he said, "Mommy, you can go first." I was surprised and asked why. He said, "Because I'm a gentleman."
